Will Schambach

Will brings an in-depth knowledge across the CMC landscape of biotechnology, having worked most recently as a Senior Project Manager for Gossamer Bio coordinating shipping and logistics for analytical activities, clinical supply, and commercial scale up. Before Gossamer, having a B.Sc. from McGill University in Chemistry, Will grew his technical background on the lab bench as an analytical chemist in release, stability, and HPLC method development at Moderna, based in Massachusetts. His transition from the laboratory to project management is where he began his journey in the discipline, coordinating and leading technical development activities in early phase programs, transfer activities to quality environments and CDMOs, and managing validation activities for commercial vaccines and therapeutics across the CMC environment.

Melissa Austin MS PMP

Melissa blends neuroscience, positive psychology, and design thinking to strengthen how teams think, decide, and collaborate with more than two decades in the Biotech industry. Her work helps teams build the cognitive and relational agility needed to navigate the volatility and complexity of modern biotech.

• M.S. in Program and Project Management from Brandeis University.
• An EMCC-accredited Global Individual Team Coach Practitioner and certified in designing and facilitating workshops with the LEGO® Serious Play® method, using play and metaphor to unlock creativity, alignment, and courageous conversations within scientific teams.
