About US

Whether you are a seasoned project manager for a large pharmaceutical company, a VP PM for a small biotech or a project coordinator at a medical devices company aspiring to the lead role of CPO (Chief Project Officer = a C-level executive in charge of Project Management), this volunteer group has been created for you.

If you are a scientist or lab manager trying to move to the business side in your company, we will help you gain an understanding of how project management principles apply to our industry. We will also help you connect with hiring managers who are looking for people who understand the scientific side of things, the drug development process, the regulatory environment or the CMC aspects.

If you are a project manager looking to either join a Pharma/Biotech company or change departments within one, we will you assess your current knowldege of the industry and help you communicate this expertise with prospective employers or hiring managers. We can also help you gain credibility and recognition not only for your project management expertise but also for your understanding of the science.

Our goal is to bridge the two worlds of "structured project management" and "unpredictable scientific outcomes". It can be done and it is fun. Let us show you how.

Our members pay a nominal fee of $40 dollars annually to join our group and support its activities.

We are the best of both worlds. It provides a virtual and global presence and allows you to network and exchange ideas with project professional locally in your city or state.
